Are You Building Rapport With Clients? – Part 3 Of 6

This blog post series, “How To Create Online Income”, has been created to lay out a foundational blue print for nearly any entrepreneur trying to market a product or service online.

If you are like I was nearly 4 years ago, you are grasping for straws trying to figure out why your not bringing in significant profits from your internet business.

So at this point we have been marketing online and generating traffic.  We have been gathering contact information from prospects from our lead capture pages.

So to continue the process, we must begin building rapport with our prospects.  The reason for this is simple, people buy from people they know like and trust, THAT’S IT.

There are a few ways to go about building rapport:

1. Email Marketing

2.Video Marketing

3. Article Marketing

4. Blogging

5. Social Media (which includes videos & blogging)

6. Picking up the phone and “talking” your your prospect.(my most effective technique)

As your doing email, video, blog, & article marketing to build rapport, you must be genuine and helpful without showing that you want much in return.  Your viewers will sense this and therefore be more attracted to working with you.  This will increase your trust and rapport with people a lot quicker.

The easiest way to be genuine & helpful is to provide solutions to people’s problems.  So for example, if your in the network marketing/home business industry, ask yourself what the biggest problems are for people in that industry.  You will find that lack of leads and lack of cash flow are the 2 biggest problems these entrepreneurs face.  So focus your marketing on the solutions to these hurdles by providing  network marketing support, mlm training, sales funnels, etc.

Also, when you actually have a conversation with a prospect, BE A GOOD QUESTION ASKER!
And after you ask the question LISTEN the their answer.  Don’t be thinking of your next question as they are giving you their answer or you will come off as not listening to  them.

When people feel that you really care about what their saying, you have mastered the art of building rapport.

Why Network Marketing Training(Direct Selling) Teaches You The Vital Skill Sets

My dad always told me to go to school, get good grades, get a secure job, and save save save.
I’m sure you have heard this advice at some point of your life.

If you think about it, going to school teaches you skill sets that are not really business
related.  Yes, you learn a lot of book smarts, but your mostly taught how to fill out a good resume to get a job.  In other words your taught to build someone else’s dream’s, not your own.

If your taught to be an employee and you accept that role in your career, your
automatically accepting different values.  Employees value things like security, a steady
paycheck and benefits.  Those can be good things for a lot of people, but automatically limit yourself to probably never producing real wealth and true freedom.

If you think like a business owner, your values are quit different from that of an employee.  An
entrepreneur values things like freedom, not having to go to a job everyday, a certain risk tolerance, leveraging and team building.  These values allow you to earn income from the efforts of others and not just your own.

Would you rather be earning 10% from the efforts of 1,000 people or 100% of your own efforts?  I think we know the answer to that.  Not to mention, if you became disabled and not able to work your still going to be paid over and over again.

So if a traditional education wont teach you the skill sets of entrepreneurs then where do you acquire these things? According to author, Robert Kiyosaki, network marketing training in the direct selling industry is your best bet.

Because network marketing training will teach you how to sell, how to overcome rejection, and learn skill sets that will be applicable to owning your own business.  You will not get this from a college classroom.  What’s even more appealing it that the training is generally free when you join an MLM or direct selling company.  The company will also be very patient and allow to take your time in learning these skill sets as well.

The amount of support is unparalleled through network marketing training.  A typical person is almost incapable of using all the training available, which makes this even more attractive.  If you think about it, were else can you start your own business for under $500, receive professional training at your own pace, with the potential to make millions of dollars passively?  If that doesn’t excite you then nothing will.

The statistics all show the same results, and that is, business owners and investors generally are more financially secure than the average employee. I think we could all agree that job security is a thing of the past, so even being an employee is not as secure as it use to be.

The network marketing training you receive through a direct selling company alone is worth taking advantage of even if you don’t prefer to be involved in particular multi level marketing company itself.

So if you value freedom and are risk tolerant, find a great direct selling company, soak up
all the training like a sponge, and watch what happens to your income and lifestyle.
